4 Things to Consider Before Changing Your Career

I’m a serial career changer.
Every time I get a new job, it’s something completely different. I stick with it for a few years and then hop to something else.
I’ve even switched careers while staying at the same company.
Why do I do it? I don’t have a great answer. I’m just never happy where I am.
Logically, it’d be far easier to just grow on my current path, to climb the ladder that’s already in view. It’s not like previous attempts at career changing have gotten me any closer to being satisfied with my career trajectory.
The thing is: it’s just the way I am. And I’m okay with that. I’m not thrilled about it — being a serial hot mess isn’t exactly something to be proud of — but I’m okay with it.
That being said, I want to share a few lessons I’ve learned from career switching, so you don’t make the same let’s-not-call-them-mistakes as me.
